A 5 yo boy with a hx of acute lymphocytic leukemia is brought to the ED for fever and lethargy. He had been sleeping all day and was found to have a fever prior to arrival. His Temp is 39.8 C, HR 178, RR 52, BP 90/40 and pOx 96% on RA. He is groaning and responds only to painful stimuli. He has shallow respirations without crackles or wheezing. He has bounding pulses and feels warm. A CBC and blood cx are obtained from his central line and antibiotics are administered. What would be the most appropriate next step in management?
