Many believe humans are born with original sin which results in the built-in urge to do bad, Iraneus believed God does not prevent evil as it would interfere with free will.

All that happens is part of Allah's plan (Al-Quadr), humans are given free will and their actions will be answered on judgement day, many Muslims believe Shaytan tempts humans into evil but that he can be resisted
