Solid particles are compact, Organised. all touching and vibrate about fixed positions. Liquids particles are compact , moving, all touching and move around each other. Gases particles are Scattered, Not touching and have freedom in movement

Solid particles have Strong forces of attraction in their bonds. Liquid particles have some force of attraction between the bonds. Gas particles have close to zero attraction between the bonds

Solid particles will vigorously move about the more you heat them which causes the solid to stretch out and take up more room. Liquids particles Move around much more due to the decrease of the Inter molecular forces. Gas particles move around much more due to the increases energy transferred from the heat, this causes the particles to hit the walls of the container much more often and quicker it is in (e.g a room or a bottle) which thus increases the pressure in the container.

Chemical change is a change that produces one or more substance. the substance of the new substance and usually very different to the properties of the original substance.

Physical changes is when a substance changes state or changes into broken pieces. no new substances are made, the original substance just changes form

A physical change can be reversed but a chemical change can never be reversed.

A chemical change can produce a new substance but a physical change cannot

During a chemical change, the bonds between atoms break down and the atoms rearrange (change places).

During a physical change the substance changes state, which means the particle arrangement stays the same but the behaviour changes
